Tom, Dick, and Harry Mountain via Mirror Lake Trail #664 is a 9 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Government Camp, Oregon that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash. The first quarter-mile of the trail is considered ADA accessible by the park. The trail then becomes forested dirt and rocky with a gradual uphill. During the busy season, visitors will need an NW Forest Pass, American the Beautiful Pass, or pre-purchase a day pass before reaching the trailhead. During the winter months (November to April), you will need a Sno-Park Permit to park at the Mirror Lake Trailhead which has a daily cost and has to be purchased in advance. The trailhead has two vaulted toilets with air fresheners and is well-stocked with toilet paper. There are two designated accessible parking spaces.

Trillium Lake Loop Trail is a 1.9 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Government Camp, Oregon that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash. This is a great trail that encircles Trillium Lake and has been designed to be all-access, so it can be used by those using strollers or with limited mobility, according to the park website. Accessibility: There is 1 designated accessible space in the paved parking lot off of Forest Road 2656 at the southeast end of the trail. It is van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is packed rock or wooden boardwalk with edge barriers and typically at least 3 feet wide. A portion of this trail is along a Forest Service roadway and shares the road with vehicles, so using reflective materials, lights, or flagging is recommended for safety. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less). It`s possible that extra assistance may be needed along the boardwalk, as it is often narrow, and is sometimes in disrepair.

The views from the timberland trail are spectacular. However, be mindful of the weather as it may snow any instant. Also, a part of the timberland route is cut by fallen trees, which may be a little hard to navigate through, especially when there is tons of snow. Users have reported that you will need to keep walking past the first split in the trail. You`ll see a big map about 100 feet later, then take the path on the right.

This is a great hike with lots of beautiful flowers, views of Hood Meadow, and two waterfalls (Umbrella Falls and Sahalie Falls).

Pacific Crest Trail, Paradise Park Loop 757, and Trail 778 is a 9.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Government Camp, Oregon that features a waterfall and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, and backpacking and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash. Timberline Lodge to Paradise Park Loop Trail is a 12-mile dog-leg starting and ending at Timberline lodge that gives access to "the park," a large mountain meadow and grassland on Mt. Hood. It`s almost always up or down and not the friendliest trail on your legs, but it`s one of the more scenic summer hikes on Hood. There are incredible wildflower displays into early September, and there are few places like the park on the mountain. Also, ignore the map track currently uploaded to AllTrails--that misses most of the park and takes an unimpressive shortcut. Look up maps and take the PCT to trail 757 and do all of 757 till it hits the PCT again.

This is a nice little trail off the main road with a pretty waterfall and forest surroundings that is good for the whole family. It can be a bit icy in a few parts but is still passable to the top without spikes, though they certainly make it easier. Users have reported that there is a fork in the trail near the falls and the route with better views and less incline is on the right.

Timothy Lake Loop is a 15 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Government Camp, Oregon that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from June until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash. The first two miles are all stellar views! After which the trail winds through the forest and trees but is still very well maintained. Not much climbing, very peaceful, and just an overall relaxing vibe. Visitors have reported you may want to bring the app or downloaded an offline map because the trails can be hard to follow in places.

Hood Wilderness that offers peaceful lakeside views. This trail includes two lakes: Lower Twin Lake, and Upper Twin Lake. From the parking lot, take a short, half-mile jaunt on the Pacific Crest Trail, then break off. Lower Twin Lake is about 1.5 miles in, and Upper Twin Lake is another mile beyond. Both lakes offer breathtaking views.
